"Get travel insurance" says OFT

Advice comes amid ongoing travel disruption

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) is urging anyone who's travelling away this summer to make sure they're insured.

It's after months of flight disruption on the Island and across the UK.

Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh is the chair of the OFT and has been speaking to Amy Griffiths:

The OFT is also urging people to check with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) before booking tickets, so they know exactly what they're entitled to if they run into difficulty.

Anyone needing advice can also contact the OFT by calling 01624 686500 or emailing iomfairtrading@gov.im.
