No prosecution - as it's Weapons Amnesty month

The Isle of Man Constabulary's Weapons Amnesty is well underway, and they're reminding residents they'll be no prosecutions for handing in arsenal this month.

Inspector Derek Flint says police have received a mixed haul of weapons, like firearms, ammunition and knives - and more original pieces, like a 'centurion-style' sword.

As in previous years, people can surrender any harmful items throughout February - stopping short of potential explosives, which requires specialist removal.
