Banking boss says Island's market is 'too small'
Government is being encouraged to look for ‘natural solutions’ to help Manx residents obtain credit cards.
That’s the view of the head of Conister Bank – it comes after difficulties were highlighted in people getting, or keeping, a card from a provider in the UK.
Managing director Douglas Grant says he believes the market here is ‘too small’ for an Island based institution to launch the facility.
He told Manx Radio it would be a loss-making market:
