MHK who chaired whistleblowing committee wants to see action
Changes are needed to ensure government workers can be held to account for their failings.
That's from Onchan MHK Julie Edge, who chaired a committee looking into whistleblowing during the last administration.
Following a tribunal's decision to award the Island's former Medical Director Dr Rosalind Ranson £3.2m in compensation after she was fired for whistleblowing, there have been calls for those responsible to face consequences.
Ms Edge says the blame shouldn't always fall to politicians:
Garff Commissioners hosting offshore windfarm drop in session today
Public invited to suggest new brownfield site for potential re-development
Anthony Allen re-elected as chair at Onchan Commissioners
