Five ensembles taking part
The sounds of the Island's brass bands are set to resonate across Laxey today (30 May).
From 1pm the Great Laxey Brass Band Festival swings into gear with five ensembles taking part.
They'll be performing for free at the Mines Tavern, Glen Gardens Pavilion and the Miner's Statue before a grand finale at the Village Square at 4pm.
