Health workers testing coronavirus procedures

Protective clothing being worn in simulation

The Department of Health is asking people not to be alarmed if they see paramendics in the Douglas area wearing protective clothing.

The Isle of Man Ambulance Service and the emergency department at Nobles Hospital are testing their response to any suspected cases of coronavirus.

Staff are carrying out a full simulation to test procedures.

Public health advice on the Island states the risk remains low at this time.
