Footage sent to police
A helmet-mounted camera has helped to track down a driver who almost knocked a local cyclist off his bike.
The shaken rider filmed a car dangerously overtaking another vehicle on the Island's roads earlier this week, almost forcing them off the road.
Footage was sent in to police, who identified the motorist responsible.
A fine of £120 and three penalty points were issued.
Officers say the cameras, as well as in-car 'dashcams', are becoming an increasingly helpful tool to prosecute irresponsible road users - especially in cases where who is to blame isn't clear.
