Restoration work building momentum
The Friends of the Queen's Pier are officially 'passing the baton' to the Queen's Pier Restoration Trust tomorrow (Sat 21st), in what Chairman Michael Tramontana describes as 'a symbolic gesture'.
Michael has been campaigning for a rejuvenation of the historical asset for almost 25 years, and after a long series of set-backs, he thinks the project is finally building up a head of steam.

At 1pm, Mr Tramontana will present the Queen's Pier Trust with a cheque for around eleven thousand pounds.
