Needed to keep people in their own homes
An integrated approach to elderly care could prevent a crisis for the Island's health service, as the ageing population increases.
That's the view of Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford.
His comments come after concerns were raised in the UK over a predicted increase in the number of older people with unmet care needs.
Mr Ashford says a joined-up approach is the way forward for the Island:
