He took up the position in June
The interim public health director only works for the Isle of Man two days a week.
Professor Hugo Van Woerden took up the position in June, and has previously said he was committed to being on Island as much as required to meet the demands of the job.
Government has told Manx Radio his hybrid working arrangements are designed to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the Island, combining remote working with periods spent over here.
However, it's been confirmed he can deal with urgent issues outside of his contracted two days if needed.
