Treasury minister says put domestic issues first
Government mustn't let turbulent events further afield distract it from delivering its main policy objectives - that's according to the Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan.
He says political turmoil in the UK can't be ignored, but domestic issues need to take centre stage.
Last Thursday's (June 8) election result has cast doubt over what kind of Brexit the UK government will pursue, which has clear implications for the Isle of Man.
Mr Cannan told Manx Radio the Island's direction should be clear:
Candidates could need to declare interests to stand in 2026 General Election
Customs and Excise office to relocate
Douglas man convicted in Island's 'most complex child abuse image investigation'
Temporary lights installed on Douglas promenade
