Tynwald committees holding scrutiny sessions
The Manx government's response to the coronavirus pandemic is going to be looked at by Tynwald committees.
Discussions have taken place among the Public Accounts Committee and the other permanent scrutiny bodies recently to work out how parliamentary scrutiny may be carried out under the current conditions.
PAC Chair Juan Watterson SHK says the Island's parliament should be mindful of its duty to scrutinise, now a month has passed since the initial response to the crisis.
The first session is due to take place on Friday this week, when the PAC will hear from the chief minister, the chief secretary and other senior civil servants.
It will look at how returning residents have been handled.
The session is scheduled to start at 11am, and can be listened to live or afterwards via the Tynwald website.
