Is it OK to sell items found in recycling centres?

Ramsey Commissioner thinks not

Nowadays it's not uncommon to have a limit set on your browsing time, as Civic Amenity sites work to inhibit people making a habit of selling reusable items, or even developing businesses around the practice.

In Wednesday's sitting of Ramsey Town Commissioners, Leonard Singer shared his concerns:

Douglas Borough Council agree that while no legislation exists to prevent such entrepreneurial initiative, it does go against the spirit of the re-use centre.
