Island borders to remain closed for foreseeable future

Quayle confirms there are no plans to lift travel restrictions

The Island's borders are to remain closed for the foreseeable future.

Chief Minister Howard Quayle made the announcement at the latest media conference, where a number of changes to coronavirus restrictions were outlined.

They include the reopening of school sites from mid-June, and hairdressers and barbers are to start up again from 1 June.

However Mr Quayle said there are no plans in the pipeline to lift the border lockdown:
