Manx names particularly interesting says author
The Isle of Man is set to feature in a new book, about the etymology of place names.
'The Origins of Names, Words, and Everything In-between' is a work by Patrick Foote, which aims to set out exactly what the title suggests.
It explores the stories behind the titles of countries, planets, towns and cities - all stemming from the success of Patrick's YouTube Channel, called 'Name Explain'.
Mr Foote told Manx Radio the Island's place names were especially interesting.
