Onchan MHK 'shocked' at high number of applications
An MHK believes something needs to be done to address the high number of planning enforcement cases on the Island.
Onchan member David Quirk said he was 'shocked' to hear the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is dealing with more than 150 applications.
DEFA Minister Richard Ronan revealed the figure after being questioned in the House of Keys last week.
Mr Quirk insists a fairer system is needed:
Meningitis B vaccination scheme to be rolled out on-Island
Balthane Roundabout plans on hold until 2027/28 as costs rise
Port St Mary lifeboat launched to rescue stricken fishing vessel
Enquiries ongoing after 'shotgun-like sound' heard near Police Headquarters
