Not 'caught up' in other jurisdictions' decisions says Cannan
The Isle of Man has set its own direction in many areas of its response to Covid-19.
That's the message from the chief minister who says the government here has not been 'caught up' in decisions made in other jurisdictions.
The Island is due to move to dealing with Coronavirus as an endemic, rather than pandemic, from 31 March – just over a month after England plans to drop all of its restrictions.
Alfred Cannan says, whilst developments elsewhere are monitored, the Island will pave its own way:
More services to be temporarily relocated from Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital
Assurances given to MiCard users
Isle of Man population edges upward to 84,975 as migration drives growth
