The Power of Words taken as theme
The Power of Words – that is the title of this year’s annual holocaust memorial commemoration.
The Island's national tribute to the victims of holocausts and genocide around the world will be held at St George’s Church in Douglas on Sunday afternoon (January 28).
Designed to ensure the victims of injustice are never forgotten, students from all Island schools will be involved in the service.
One of the organisers, Leonard Singer, says it’s a time for reflection.
