Belief that regulation would reduce deaths
A bereaved father from Port St Mary has repeated his call to reconsider the war on illegal drugs, as the UK festival season gets underway.
Ray Lakeman lost his sons Jacques and Torin to an accidental overdose in 2014.
He recently appeared on ITV programme Good Morning Britain, days after two more young people died at a festival in Portsmouth.
Bestival, which takes place every year in Dorset, has since announced it will be allowing visitors to test their drugs for harmful additives this year.
Mr Lakeman told viewers regulating the drug market would reduce deaths.
