Chief Minister believes good governance principles have been forgotten
Government has to move on after the departure of a number of top civil servants and stop being a 'lazy' organisation.
That's the view of Chief Minister Alfred Cannan after several top figures from government's workforce retired or resigned in recent months.
A review of the culture of the civil service is underway, with Mr Cannan having committed to make changes in the coming year.
He believes some basic principles need to be remembered:
'Pressure in the system' but bed figures are wrong says Manx Care
Work permits 'form part of longer-term plan' says Johnston
First Deemster and Clerk of Rolls appointed to senior roles
Mother's Day recognition for women who ‘shape our community’
