Dark Avenue Film's screenplay 'Chrysalis' placed in four comps
A screenplay by two local writers has caught the attention of multiple international film festivals.
Directors of 'Dark Avenue Film', Bethany White and Patrick Crellin, wrote 'Chrysalis', which has just been nominated in its fourth competition.
Set in Yorkshire in the 1700s, the film is about a family living in a rural village, full of unrest and superstitions that something in the woods is stealing children from the town.
It made it to the quarter final's in American competition Blue Cat, beating thousands of other screenplays to get into the top 300.
