Two-hour disc zone to open later this month
Parking will be temporarily made available again on the walkway of Loch Promenade in Douglas during the festive season.
The Department of Infrastructure says vehicles will be able to park there from Monday, 28 November until Tuesday, 10 January, 2023.
Motorists will be able to access it from opposite the Gaiety Theatre.
The area will be a two-hour disc parking zone and four hours for blue badge holders.
A 10mph speed limit will also be in place whilst vehicles will also have to reverse park on the landward side of the walkway only.
The DOI adds as the walkway is heavily used by pedestrians, vehicles must drive slowly and be prepared to stop if needed.
