Implores members not to speak for "the sake of it"
The Lord Bishop of Sodor and Man paid tribute to the work of the Legislative Council in his final speech.
Bishop Robert Paterson spoke for the last time in Tynwald yesterday afternoon (Tues) before retiring from his post.
President of Tynwald Steve Rodan paid tribute to his eight years in the court, and the interest he's shown for the welfare of members.
In his reply, he thanked the president and clerks, and his fellow MLCs.
Before leaving, he implored all members not to speak simply to have their voices heard:
