Anthony Allen now vice-chair
Onchan Commissioners has a new chairman.
Martin Macfarlane was elected to the position this week after serving two years on the board.
His predecessor, Anthony Allen, became vice-chairman.
Mr Macfarlane says his priorities will include further pursuing public sector housing reform, and tackling antisocial behaviour in the village.
Onchan Commissioners opposed an Island-wide 3.1% rent rise earlier this year, and remains one of only two local authorities not to have signed up to a shared housing waiting list scheme.
Mr Macfarlane says he is 'proud' to be leading a board which does things its own way.
