Toby Wood yet to enter plea to one count of rape
A Port Erin man will appear in court again next year over allegations he raped a woman at gunpoint.
Twenty-two-year-old Toby Wood of the Edremoney Estate appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
He hasn’t yet been asked to enter a plea to one count of rape, but has pleaded not guilty to a charge of burglary in Castletown Road in Port Erin.
Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody, and he’s next due to appear in court on 12 January.
