Jay Waters bailed to appear again in August
A man’s appeared in court over a car crash which claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman last year.
Twenty-one-year-old Jay Waters of St Runius Way in Glen Vine appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He didn’t enter pleas to charges of causing death by careless driving and causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention.
The court heard 19-year-old Katie Robley died in the crash on Main Road in Santon last October.
Mrs Hughes bailed him in the sum of £500, and Mr Waters is next due to appear in court on 11 August.
