Healthcare boss says the abuse she's received on the Island is the worst she's seen in her 30-year career
The chief executive of Manx Care says she's shocked and disappointed at the level of abuse she's received since taking up the role.
Teresa Cope was appointed ahead of the board taking charge of the Island's healthcare services in April 2021.
In recent months, the organisation has discussed the impact such abuse has on their staff, and appealed for patients to respect their workers.
But Mrs Cope has told Manx Radio the comments she's received are the worst she's seen in her 30-year healthcare career:
'Power of veto' might help get difficult decisions through, says chief minister
Gas prices to remain unchanged for 2026
Ramsey Commissioners not adding 'optional' one percent increase to social housing rents
New gynaecology clinic room will 'significantly increase capacity'
