But British Medical Association brands latest survey results a 'damning indictment'
Manx Care says it is 'doing a lot of work' to tackle concerns raised by doctors in the latest annual survey of British Medical Association (BMA) members.
It's after it found that less than a quarter of doctors at the Island's healthcare provider would recommend it as a place to work, despite evidence of improvement elsewhere.
The union has branded the results as a 'damning indictment'.

But Manx Care's Executive Medical Director Dr Chris Stockport says actions are in place to tackle issues, they just need time to work.
Once such change is the introduction of the Manx Care Professional Senate, which was agreed and endorsed by the Manx Care Board in November 2025.
The body says: "Colleagues want to feel more valued and listened to. They want to have greater influence on the way things are done more and be better informed about what’s going on in their work areas.
"The Professional Senate will also create opportunities for staff and their managers to share views and create greater understanding."
On the other side of the argument though, the BMA says these changes, whilst welcomed, will not make a difference quickly enough for its members.
Manx Radio spoke to BMA Chair, Dr Tom Dolphin, and Dr Chris Stockport last week.
