Community support sought for pier restoration
Enthusiasts set on restoring Queen's Pier in Ramsey say the Manx community needs to turn out and show its support.
The Queen's Pier Restoration Trust this week secured a lease with government to refurbish the Victorian tourist attraction, which they say will take around five years.
A crack team of engineers, architects, fundraisers and handy people has been assembled to carry out the work, but more pairs of hands are always welcome.
It's estimated the full repairs will cost around £1.5 million.
