Manx Gas explain delays in Douglas

Plans explained by customer services boss

Further congestion caused by Manx Gas road works in Douglas couldn't have been predicted - according to a senior figure at the company.

There's been a week-long delay to traffic along North Quay and Parade Street - where obstructions are stalling people most at peak times in the day.

The Douglas swing bridge was made one-way to cope with the level of works.

Customer services director Rob Gardner says that - at least - could be remedied soon.

He explains the new timeline:
