First - and last - appearance for Paris-based team
A student from the Isle of Man appeared on University Challenge Last night (Mon 24)
Niamh Merritt was playing for the London Institute in Paris - a 120 student establishment.
She introduced herself saying ‘Oie Vie, I’m Niamh, I’m from Port Erin in the Isle of Man.’
Unfortunately, her team didn't win, scoring just 55 to lose out to a fellow University of London college, Goldsmiths, who triumphed with 180.
