Island must be wary
Media interest in the Isle of Man has increased significantly in recent days, the Chief Minister has admitted.
It follows this week’s release of the Panama Papers which revealed how people use tax havens to hide their wealth.
Allan Bell says while the Island is not in the frame for allegations emerging from Panama, the Manx government has to remain on its guard as the spotlight grows on offshore financial centres.
