Praxis looking to expand
A charity which operates a range of mental health and social care facilities in the Island is looking to expand in the new year.
Praxis Care, which is based in Northern Ireland, employs more than 30 people in the Isle of Man, running services for government.
They include accommodation for nine individuals with a learning disability in Ramsey and a day centre for people with mental health problems.
Early next year, the charity will oversee the new older people's day service for learning disabilities.
Praxis has appointed Julie Ormond assistant director onn the Island, to oversee its expanding operation and tender for future contracts.
