Department issues 800 questionnaires to users
The health department wants to know if mental health services on the Island are better, worse or similar to elsewhere.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, 800 questionnaires have been sent to a random sample of patients, to garner their views and feedback.
The department says this exercise "mirrors the annual survey by CQC - the regulating body for mental health services in the UK."
It's hoped the findings will help benchmark the patient experience on the Island against equivalents in England.
Feedback will also "help us see what's good about the care and support provided and where improvement is needed," the department says.
Results are to be made public later this year.
