Callister has concerns over Onchan plan
An Onchan MHK believes more affordable homes need to be built in the east of the Island.
Rob Callister thinks the Draft Area Plan for the East includes too many new dwellings, but not enough for those the Government wants to attract to the Island.
He's also worried about the impact new developments could have on traffic and schools in the area.
The MHK is holding a constituency meeting this weekend to give local residents a chance to see the plans and ask questions.
The plan suggests a quarter of new homes should be affordable, but Mr Callister doesn't think this is a high enough percentage:-
Mr Callister's drop-in session will take place on Saturday at the Onchan Community Hub from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
