Former Radio TT commentator wants to see marshal-led speed-controlled lap
An MHK is calling for sidecar competitors to be able to take part in a parade lap at this year's TT.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover has been reacting to the announcement that the class has been suspended from this year's races.
Mr Glover, who previously commentated on the event for Radio TT, posted on social media that he'd contacted the enterprise minister about compensation, and has received confirmation that the prize pots will be split between all entrants.
He's also asked for there to be a marshal-led speed-controlled parade lap in the now empty race slots so the fans can show their appreciation to the crews.
