Data on sharing 'commercially sensitive'

An MHK says he's skeptical over a response to a Keys question on mobile phone masts.

David Ashford believes telecoms providers in the Island should do more to share their transmitters, to reduce the visual impact on countryside and suburban areas.

It's already a common practice between operators in the UK and Europe.

Mr Ashford asked the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister, Geoffrey Boot, for data on sharing this week - but was advised such information was 'commerically sensitive'.
