Fears latest closure announcement is evidence of bigger problems
An MHK believes the Isle of Man Post Office is "sleepwalking into a problem" following the announcement that the St John's counter is to close.
Ayre and Michael member Tim Baker will ask chairman Julie Edge about branch numbers and how the resignation of the sub-postmaster in St John's affects the board's income at this week's House of Keys sitting.
Mr Baker previously called for the Council of Ministers to take over the review into the Post Office, but failed to gain enough support last July.
He says the board's actions since then have proved his fears:
