MHK wants 'spades in ground' for new CRHS

Target date for new facility will not be met

MHKs from the south of the Island have slammed delayed plans for a new Castle Rushen High School.

£972,000 has been allocated, as part of the capital programme in this year's Budget, for pre-contract and design work for the new facility.

But work won't be completed by the target date of March 2027.

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson described it as 'unacceptable'
