Private member's bill would update leasehold legislation
An MHK is seeking permission from the House of Keys to make it easier for those living in flats to manage their own homes.
Manx laws currently make it difficult for those living in leasehold premises which use management companies to take over the running of the building, according to Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper.
He's asking for leave to introduce a private member's bill amending legislation in this area.
After speaking to his constituents about the issue, Mr Hooper says there is a better option:
Review of taxi fares extended to assess impact of Middle East conflict
Liverpool ferry terminal closed again this weekend
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
