Facility hasn't operated as private unit at hospital since 2019
The new health minister wants to see the private patients unit at Noble's Hospital reopened as soon as practically possible.
The PPU was repurposed during the Covid-19 pandemic and, more recently, has been used to help cut elective surgery waiting times.
It hasn't operated as a private unit since closing in 2019.
