More than 3,300 census forms already completed

Extra staff being assigned to help process

More than 3,300 completed census forms have already been submitted.

The Policy and Reform Minister revealed 3,311 have already completed the form online, while a further 1,845 have started.

Ray Harmer confirmed census headquarters have had to be moved from Fairfield School because of connectivity problems, and there are plans to increase staffing.

He also admitted he would have been in favour of a longer run in to the census on Sunday (30 May), but said there will be a period of time after the weekend in which forms can be filled in:
