Most A Level students have grades for first choice uni place

Education Minister praises efforts of Island's sixth formers

Most local A Level students hoping to go to university have got the grades they need to get onto their first choice course.

That's from Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson as around 400 students received their results this morning.

Exams were cancelled this year due to coronavirus, with pupils receiving teacher-assessed grades instead.

But Dr Allinson says grades aren't the most important aspect of results day:
