Shoppers encouraged but not forced to wear coverings
The managing director of one of the Island's food retailers says most customers have been wearing face coverings since new coronavirus measures came into force earlier this week.
Government advice encourages those going into shops to wear a covering as part of the 21-day circuit-break lockdown.
Only essential retailers are allowed to open, with many having put social distancing systems in place, including queuing outside.
Janna Horsthius from Robinsons says lots of shoppers have been following the advice:
CoMin making 'significant and determined efforts' to implement recommendations from Ranson review
Rain events 'difficult to forecast' on the Isle of Man
Planning permission granted for 26 industrial units
Port St Mary Commissioners urging residents not to 'struggle in silence'
