An Island mum is planning to plant a wood to offer grieving families a place of solace after the loss of a baby.
Tori Smithies is appealing for a plot of land on which relatives can plant a tree in memory of a baby that died through miscarriage, still birth or neonatal death.
She wants to call it Sleeping Angel Wood - creating somewhere for families to share memories as their tree grows - as an alternative to visiting a grave.
Tori's son Charles was stillborn at full term 17 years ago and she subsequently miscarried twins.
She now wants a haven to enjoy with their brothers and sisters - and is hoping an Island firm or landowner will donate the land:
