
The Island's new prison governor has been on a steep learning curve during her first week here.
Alison Gomme has many years experience in the prison service - most recently in charge of two in the Midlands, south of Birmingham.
Running a prison holding different catergories of offender will be one of the biggest changes for her.
But Mrs Gomme says the big move north to Jurby is by far the greatest challenge:
