'No chance' TT fans skip races due to coronavirus

No cases of Covid-19 on Isle of Man

TT fans say there's 'no chance' of them changing their plans to come to the Island for this year's races, despite the coronavirus outbreak.

With several major sporting events around the world impacted by Covid-19, Manx Radio asked road racing fans if they were concerned on social media.

Most were instantly dismissive, with many stating they'd still come to the Island whether the TT is cancelled or not.

Elaine from North Yorkshire, and Paul from Ramsey gave contrasting opinions:

Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly has insisted it's 'business as usual' for TT organisers, although the situation is being closely monitored.

Meanwhile, Public Health Isle of Man says there are no confirmed coronavirus cases on the Island.

According to the latest update, there have been 16 tests carried out but all have proved to be negative.

Health Minister David Ashford says all but one of these tests were carried out away from Noble's Hospital:
