No plastic bottled water at Ramsey GS

More water sources available from September

There will be no plastic bottled water at Ramsey Grammar School from September.

Students presented a petition to Chief Minister Howard Quayle in early May calling for a ban.

Government has committed to installing more water fountains in Island schools and Conister Bank is providing all pupils and staff at the northern facility with refillable flasks.

Head Teacher Annette Baker says having the right number of sources of water is essential for the new regime to succeed:
