MNFU says there's been no clear impact
The rise of people going vegetarian or vegan hasn't had a clear impact on the Island's meat and dairy industry.
There's been no recorded loss in sales on the Isle of Man, according to the president of the Manx National Farmers' Union, Brian Brumby.
It comes at the end of a month when some have been cutting out meat and dairy for 'Veganuary'.
Mr Brumby says the Island is in a different situation than elsewhere:
New Year Honours for six Isle of Man residents
Island enjoyed 'reasonable' summer despite no record-breaking temperatures
Head of Ambulance Service 'really privileged' to receive New Year Honour
Chief Fire Officer 'overwhelmed' after receiving New Year Honour
