Numerous concerns raised during borders debate

Changes to restrictions approved in Tynwald

Politicians have raised numerous concerns over approved changes to easing the Island's border restrictions.

Yesterday Tynwald gave the green light to alter the Isle of Man's Covid-19 Exit Framework.

Fully vaccinated residents, and non-residents, will be able to travel without restrictions from June 28 and children under the age of five will be exempt from testing and isolation.

Several members of the court raised concerns about the plans including Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper who wants more clarity over what it will mean for children and schools:
